I am new here. I just bought a teapot that has a nice shape and I am thinking it is silver plate (very inexperienced with silver) and I thought I would see what you all might know about it. It has a brass top screwed into the hinged lid, and the design looks like it was stampr through. The inside looks hammered, and is very bright silver-colored, but I am wondering if it is tin lined? The outer silver is slightly tarnished.
