:::: Many of the details here seem more like a Mughal silver object rather than a Persian object. :::: Mughal silver has similar bird-and-flower designs on their betel nut boxes which were designed to store betel nuts or pandan paste so sometimes they are called pandan boxes. ::: There is also a design from the Mughal culture called a "Chuski" which was designed for the storage of water infused with opium. ::: Even though this bottle doesn't look like a traditional Chuski, could it have been used for the same purpose? :::: Or maybe this form was more associated with serving wine? ::: There are experts in this field who might be able to better identify this object and I am not one of them, I have only had a few betel nut boxes (pandan boxes) and I notice a similarity in the birds-and-flower designs that this bottle exhibits. :::::
::::: There were two empires, one was the Mughal Empire and the other was the Rajput and this object could be from either empire/culture. ::::
::::: I am just not sure if this is Persian or Mughal/Rajput but I really am leaning towards Mughal/Rajput at this point. :::::
