Lidded pot...appears to be signed....does anyone know who the artist is?

My neighbor gifted me several nice pieces some years ago before he and his family returned to Iran. Have always appreciated the pieces but know nothing about Islamic art. Any information anyone can impart would be greatly appreciated.
