this is the second picture. It is an ivory round box 9cm long

I've heard it can be good for 18th 19th century? What is important is the significance of the hallmark.

Hi welcome to the forum.

It could be; Tunisia assay mark ( mis/double struck); the star used 1878-1905 but used as tax-free mark for a longer period, the Arab writing could stand for mixed metal gold and silver and gold 375/1000 fineness. However I stand to be corrected.

Not a perfect match and it could be a maker’s mark but let us wait for the opinion of our French contributors.
