Sterling & Brass Hebrew or Sanskrit Ring

Hello all. I have a signed sterling silver & brass mens ring with Hebrew or Sanskrit writing. Any idea what it says or who could be the maker? The signature is quite faded.

To hazard a guess, I believe that is one version of the sign for the zodiac symbol Virgo.

The maker's mark is too far gone to read, but perhaps by searching for similar zodiac rings, you might find one with a clearer maker's mark and make an attribution.
