Arabic silver pill or snuff box help needed to id.

HI ALL

This Arabic silver snuff or perhaps pill box appears to be Egyptian silver.

The bottom has 3 markings & the lid has 2.

the middle figure would seem to suggest it's pre 1946, can anyone figure out the year & city?

The date can be narrowed down to 1940-46 (cat with Arabic date letter).

I was just told by a knowledge Egyptian collector that this was made in Alexandria & the year is 1943-4.
