Bracelet

I bought this bracelet second hand in the late 1970s, the chap in the shop had no idea where it was from. The only likeness I have found is the Cairo lotus flower so I'm guessing it's Egyptian.



There are marks in 5 separate places, three of them together in a line.

It's Cairo, post 1946, and 800 standard silver. I'm confused by date letter, hopefully another can help.

Thanks for the reply dognose. I did find that page which is why I thought it was Egyptian, before I found this site I had no idea so that helped. I also found a chart with the dates (http://www.flickr.com/photos/44079982@N08/4190577772/) and none matched, it's definitely pre 1982 because it was second hand when I got it in the late 1970s (sorry, not certain of exact year but it may have been '79). Hopefully someone can shed some light on the year and also what any of the other marks mean.

I have found a similar, but not identical, one on another site but it looks like that one has the cat symbol so it's older than mine.

Apologies for the link in the previous post, it wasn't mine and I'm not interested in selling, it's just the first time I've ever seen anything similar to the one I've got.

I've just found a similar date mark on another thread here, viewtopic.php?f=12&t=31911, that suggests it may be 1946 but it doesn't match the chart.
