Egyptian Silver Plate

I was in Cairo in 2009 and was presented with a silver plate with the following Hallmark stamped in it.


I believe it is .900 grade silver. However the two symbols after what looks like a 9 in my care are vertical and all the research I have done shows .900 grade with the two symbols horizontal. Can anyone help?

You know it all, Silver 900/1000, Egypt, Cairo most likely after 1964. The lotus flower is the hallmark for Egypt and the last mark to the right is the year mark. Try to find the year yourself. Look here: http://www.mfti.gov.eg/affiliates/Natio ... ts/A03.htm
