Syrian silver bracelet?

I purchased this sheet silver bracelet at a general auction in London and cannot identify its country of origin or what it says in possibly Arabic script. The best guesses so far is Syrian silver. Some Iranian friend ruled out Iran as a country of origin. The two stones are citrines, I think. It is very large and would fit an upper arm. Can anyone kindly identify the country of origin, a possible age and, if indeed, the writing / script does say anything? There is a very tiny mark above the script which I only noticed when looking at my pictures. It appears to be F (or a bracket shape) and V in an oval with a slash in the middle (F / V). You can just see this above the script in the third picture.

I have been examining the script on the bracelet for a while now, setting it aside to make sure what I read is what is written. The script is Arabic, Fancy Arabic. Written on it is Hercul, the father of the men. In Arabic (Herqul, Abu Al-Rijal). The origin of the peice is dubious. It is not an older piece but a commercially-produced item. It may be Syrian from Alleppo. I hope this helps.
