Age and origin of these Egyptian items?

I would like to know more of these Egytian items. I understand that they are from Egypt. Perhaps from Cairo. But I don't know anything about the age.

Hello,

Fine peices you have here. There's no indication of the age in the stamps but my best guess is that they may be no more than fifty years old. They have .900 content silver and the letter |sh| in Arabic appears indicating the makers mark. They are alleyways upon alleyways of the silver and coppersmith shops in the streets of Cairo. To know who actually made this would be difficult.

Hello,
It is 900 silver and assayed in Alexandria. I think the other assay cities are Beni Suef, Cairo and Tanta.
The cat mark was replaced by the lotus flower in 1946; so this is after that date.
According to this site, arabic date letters were used after 1940. Unfortunately, I've never seen a chart of letters against dates for egyptian silver.
I don't think it is usual for egyptian silver to display an actual makers mark.
I hope that is useful,
Mehdi
