Can anyone help me identify these marks? The bracelet is from Egypt. I belive the Lotus Flower is indicated in the middle. However, I have not been able to identify the remaining marks. Thank you!!

Hello Bea,

This piece has all the hallmarks of Ottoman Turkey. The insignia of State, the Tugra is written in that calligraphic flow of script. A clearer picture with which to compare is available under the tab above, World Marks, go to the very bottom of the page. The name " Malik Al Jowhari" , interestingly translated into English as " King the Jewler", is stamped in the circle. The checkmark and Arabic numeral (^) indicateTurkish work and that the content is .800. A rare piece.

Regards
Hada
