Saudi Arabian riyals

Post by shub33 »

I have sterling silver camel cocktail stirrers with coin bowls. Can someone help me date 4 of the coins. Thank you in advance for looking.

Hi
the date is on the other side of the coin. Send pictures , focus on the small 4 digit arabic numerals at the bottom of the inner ring.

Hi,
As suggested this side of the coin is needed; the year is there.

Are these 1/4, 1/2 or greater? Thank you in advance once again.

Hi,
Horizontal lines indicate fractions of a riyal, but the lower number is obliterated by solder.
Here you have examples of both 1/2 and 1/4. Do not rely on the diameter because coins were distorted when hammered into a spoon.Under higher magnification there would be clear difference between 2 and 4 in Arabic.
