Help on a Mexico Mark HD

Postby firekidd » Tue Apr 03, 2007 6:07 pm

I have these wonderful sterling covered glasses.
I would like help on locating the silversmith on these.
The first picture is the mark and the second is the glasses.
The mark reads hecho en mexico UF 925 (made in mexixo) and the HD in the middle. If any one know what UF means I would appreciate that also.

Thank you all in advance.

Hi,
The UF is actually DF, short for Distrito Federal (Federal District) which means Mexico City. Similar to how we us DC for Washington. Sorry, don't know the maker.
Regards, Tom
