ring Mexico MLV eagle 1 need help with identifying mark

Need help identifying mark on a silver ring. Marked with eagle with a 1 ... MLV Mexico ..no other marks. it is heavy silver with purple stones..on line i found another set of MLV initials..and the item was marked hecho en mexico Taxco.. i would date this ring to the 1950s perhaps. any suggestions..thank you ..i think the 1 meant mexico city.. ???

according to t.l.b.m.s.t.h. it is after 1980 and not a known maker so may by unidentifiable. You may have to look for a very indepth mexican marks book.
