help identify old Mexican maker mark silver bracelet

Postby kulaiwi » Mon Nov 13, 2006 4:35 pm

I brought this old piece at an estate sale over the week end. Even broken I could not resist. I have been searching with no luck to identify the mark. it is quite worn but I have attempted to draw it. The bird to the side looks like a Parrot on a branch. It is not the eagle

Please take a look and HELP if you can.

Hi, Just to let you know that there were no drawings. The pictures did not come up just some very strange invitation to join in on video sites.
From your description I wondered if it could possibly be an owl on the branch - if so it might be for Sanborns. Usually there are three owls but one of there marks has just the one. At least this will give you a name to Google with. Cheers, Catherine
