Hello - I picked up this item at a thrift store and am trying to identify it. Wondering how old it is. It's very heavy at 148 grams.

Are you sure that second line does not read TAXCO?

Its super hard to read - I've tried everything to make it to clear but its either pretty old or not well stamped. I think I'll have to find a magnifying glass next... but maybe it does say Taxco. The middle character looks like it may be a small x.
