Eagle or Angel?

Postby Aguest » Sun Mar 06, 2016 7:46 am

Mexico Bracelet, I think I see a "CB" above the Eagle or Angel. The cursive words "Sterling Mexico" are also uncommon.
I have found examples of this type of bracelet, but nothing like the hallmarks that are on my example.

If this is the Mexican Federal Eagle, it is unlike any example I have ever seen before.

It is neither delineated nor silhouetted eagle instituted by the Mexican government.

The maker has unofficially added the eagle to his mark.
Very unusual to have ``Sterling Mexico`` engraved, not struck. Sometimes they mark ``sterling`` on clasps and the rest is not silver.
