Mexican Silver Brooch, Eagle stamp, VHLC, Guad

Hello, I need help identifying this Mexican piece of jewelry.

The Eagle stamp could be a 90 or an 06. I'm not sure of which, I used Mr. Hougart's book to try and identify but could not find anything for either stamp nor for the initials V.H.L.C.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance!

Your mark reads Plata de Jalisco a firm or retailer in Guadalajara Mexico. There are a number of pieces out there that also bear the initials V.H.L.C. Was attempting to access the Little Book of Mexican Silver but you can not access page 239 online. With luck another member with a hard copy can fill us both in.

Hi, on page 230 V.H.L.C. Plata de Jalisco Guad.Mex. they used eagle 50 and 94... hope that helps!
