Mexican silver necklace - Anyone recognise the maker?

Postby claire.belle » Fri Aug 13, 2010 1:12 pm

Hi, does anyone recognise this Mexican hallmark? It appears to be ARA surrounded by "Hecho en Mexico 925" in a circle. I can't seem to find the maker listed anywhere, although I have found a similar bracelet on Worthpoint with the same hallmark.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, ClaireBelle

It's mentioned in the hallmark book but with no further info. It looks like there is a DF after Mexico so that would mean it's from Mexico City (Distrito Federales) and no eagle mark dates it prior to 1948.
