mystery mark on bracelet sold @ Sanborn's - Fred Davis?

Hi, This bracelet is marked 'MEXICO' and 'FO' or 'FD'. I cannot find any mark that resembles it in the Little Book of Mexican Silver Trade & Hallmarks (my only Mexican silver reference book).
Does anyone have knowledge of who this maker might be? I did read that Fred Davis' work was sold at Sanborn's, and this item has a $35.00 price sticker still attached that reads:
