Old sugar tongs with mark NT
Hi all! I have the old sugar tongs with the maker's mark NT and monogram NPI 1814. Maker's mark is very similar to mark of Niels Bartholin Thomassen from Svendborg, Denmark, but he died in 1796. Maybe his successors used this mark? Would like to know your opinions. I'll be grateful for any informati...

Re: tray hallmark
Dear friends! I'm sorry, I was wrong. The letters and numbers under the crown aren't the year marks. They are codes of provincial assay offices. Now known only three of them: for the 1926-49: "A" - Bucharest, "L" - Muntenia and for 1949-55: "10" - Bucharest. Once more f...

Re: 13 loth beaker with Cyrillic (?) letter maker mark
I think this isn't Cyrillic. I believe this is German. Perhaps the maker is Diederich Floercken III from Bremen
(early 19th century) - very similar mark.
Best regards. Alex.

Hi all!
This Romanian tea spoon was made in 1931. "F" is year's letter. "A" - 1927, "B" - 1928, etc. I know it exactly.
Best regards. Alex.

Why 1948? If you see the letter A, it means 1937.

Re: "PA" mark from Moscow
Ivanov's and Postnikova-Loseva's catalogues have several mistakes. Famous russian researcher V.Skurlov says that Aristarkhov's firm existed till 1900.
