Re: German spoon
The "835S" is exactly the same and the other 2 marks also match, however, there is one that I cant find, it is a horseshoe with a clover inside.
No doubt it is Lutz $ Weiss. It is possible to date it?

Best regards,
Elías.

Found this spoon and only could identify the first mark that shows it is from Germany. Hopefully someone can help me with more info about the rest of the marks.

Re: Possible gold mark on a watch?
Thank you for the extra tip. Ill search for "La Chaux-de-Fonds" and any relation to Mulco. The thing is, Mulco is not really old company and it is very hard to get examples from internet about old watches of this trademark, even harder to find a gold Mulco watch. In my country, most people...

It is possible?
To have a silver tea strainer w/o marks? Or it can be marked with small dots words? Didnt find any mark like we usually find on silver, except for few words and a date mark made of small dots. Didnt find anything similar on the web and it really looks like silver when using the magnifying glass. Wit...

Re: Chile coat of arms ashtray
That would explain why I cant find anything about "900 SINN". I hope it is not Zinc alloy but I still believe it is very old item. Will bring it for a silver test next week, thanks a lot for the advice.
It is 65mm diameter, a little more than 1mm thick and weights 61.0 grams

Re: Chile coat of arms ashtray
I didnt find anything else about "SINN". It would be nice to find another item marked with that word. The plate or ashtray is extremely heavy for its size. I showed it to my friend from Chile and he inmediatly noticed the mistake with the Huemul-Horse design and also he pointed that the wo...

Re: Chile coat of arms ashtray
Found out "SINN" could be for Louis Ernest Sinn Baliman, born in Switzerland who was consul in Chile and who represented several fine jewelry and watch companies aroun 1873. See http://www.sinn.cl/historia.htm. There is a "mistake" in the coat of arms, there is a horse instead of...
