Re: Perfume Flask Marks

Thanks again Peter. My request for information however was about the origin of the marks, I never asked for clarification on what the object was.

Regards
Martin.

Re: Perfume Flask Marks

You cannot see inside the flask as such, as there is only a small hole beneath the hinged lid from which the liquid would be dispensed. There are no other ways into the flask so any liquid going into it would have to be put in via the little dispensing hole, presumably by some sort of small funnel. ...

Re: Perfume Flask Marks

Hi Peter

Thank you for the information. The flask measures 18cms in length, I am calling it a perfume flask but that is only a guess, as you can see it has a suspension loop so I am not sure if that was a usual thing for this type of item.

Perfume Flask Marks

Hi

Can anybody point me in the right direction of the origin of this novelty perfume flask? It has two tiny marks to the lid which I don't recognise.

Many Thanks

Sauce Ladle Marks

Hi

Can anybody help me to identify the marks on this sauce ladle please? I initially thought it may be William Craw, but I can't find anything else by him with these marks.

Many Thanks

Re: Does 925A mean high-end British silver?

Possibly the A is being used to represent the word argent, which is a term used to denote silver.

Maker Of Picture Back Teaspoon

Hi Does anybody have any suggestions for the maker of this 18th century picture back teaspoon It is marked with the lion passant and makers mark only, which appears to be RB, but unusually as well as a dividing pellet it is also flanked with a pellet on either side. Many Thanks Martin https://i.post...

Re: Marks on Teaspoon

I bought this spoon with 4 others, all with different marks, the other 4 I have identified as Scottish provincial so I think it quite possible that this one is of Scottish origin as well.
