I have a small unidentified silver box. It has only two marks. Are these pseudo-marks or the real thing? Please advise.

Re: Elephants from Indochina
Hi Trev,
thank you for your time. Tola is a unit of mass. How is a tola connected with the 999? Is there something else to it than only mass which does not make any sense to me as one box weights approx. 100 grams.
Please advise.

Elephants from Indochina
I have these two elephant boxes which I would like to know more about. I assume they come from the first half of the XX century from Indochina. I think this might be the present territory of Kingdom of Cambodia. I also assume that they are made of silver of .999 purity. Can you identify the maker an...

Silver lighter base, probably Italy, rabbit?
I have a lighter made of silver. I have seen very similar lighters with Italian silver marks including the silver purity. Here is no other mark than this one below. It looks like a rabbit or kangaroo, - have you ever seen such mark? https://i.postimg.cc/W1nkJQBg/DSC00818.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/s2g...

Thank you Aguest! Interesting why this little gem was not marked by the maker...

Little pill box, enamel
I have found a nice little silver box. Because of the flower relief, guilloche and enamel I think it is something special. What do you think - who is the maker?

German? mark on lighter sleeve
I have a gas lighter from the 50/60 from Germany. The sleeve is made of silver 800 or 900 purity. Can someone identify the maker of it? Looks like AB or FB.

Re: 935 silver vesta - match box - maker? Origin?
Thank you for your help. The dating is rather difficult as the LK is in a oval but the silver purity is not in a cartouche. My guess would be that it was made after 1920.

Thanks Peter. The maker mark consists in my opinion from a vase and letters, sth like DUVOISIN. Not sure though.

Letter opener with coin
I would like to identify the maker of this letter opener. The focus point of it is a French coin but no minerva marks on it so not sure if this opener was manufactured in France. What do you think? https://img01-olxpl.akamaized.net/img-olxpl/640483659_6_1000x700_stary-nozyk-do-listow-srebro-francja-...

Re: Sterling silver relief - hand made? Techniques used?
Thank you for your thoughts. Yes, the back does not look original.
If this would be casting this would be heavier than a hand made thin silver plate.

Sterling silver relief - hand made? Techniques used?
I am wondering how this relief was done and if it is something done by hand or rather machine? It is marked "Sterling" so I assume it was made in the late XX century. The size of it is 16,5 x 12,5 cm. I like the scene which is quite detailed. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thank you...

I have seen this candelabra which I cannot identify. Here the pictures of it. I assume it was made in the 1930s. Probably German or Italian?

Re: Old spoon? Dating and ID
Dear Warren Thank you for your contribution! No, the back has no engravings which means that it has not been personalized. The engravings on the bowl are quite bizarre, especially the faces make it a bit disturbing. I know the custom of giving christian children silver spoons but never heard about s...
