Re: Help identify Maker's

Perhaps Sachwall was only the seller and the maker hides behind the difficult legible Initials IE?

Re: Help identify Maker's

It is the town mark of Dresden after 1860. 75 means 750/1000 silver. Maker is most probably Carl August Theodor SACHWALL (1833-1894).

Re: Any info on Zimmer?

Wimmer was only the seller. I see to the right of the 800 the eagle of Bruckmann, Heilbronn. So this company is the maker.

Re: What time period?

Maker and seller was Gebrüder Sauerland, Berlin. The baroque pattern was produced for a long time, even up to nowadays.

Little teapot

Today I found this small teapot and I do not know its origin. I suppose Italian. Does anybody know the country of origin and town and perhaps the maker too? 84 is the russian number for purity. 84 Zolotniki = 875/1000 silver. PB&Co might be the case maker.

Re: German Ladle ?

Johann Friedrich ERNST, Königsberg in Ostpreußen working first half of 19th century ( year letter V = 1807 or most probably 1838), last mark is the city mark of Königsberg.

Without town mark it is nearly impossible to identify the silversmith because there were many with the initials CG.
