St.Petersburg Spoon

Hi. What do you think about this spoon? It is quite unusual for Russian spoons. Will the silversmith be the one with the number 1358 at PL ? It was only after cleaning that I noticed that there was also a small kokoshnik mark. The spoon is quite heavy because it weighs 77 grams with a length of 17.7...

Hi. None of the silversmith mentioned in PL match the years of the assayer. You know something about this silversmith? Re: Kostroma Silversmith identifiction

Hi AG2012
Hi Aguest
Of course, I understand that the pendant could have been used as a reliquary, but it suits me most that it contained a picture of a loved one or a saint.

Re: Kostroma Silversmith identifiction

Hi.
Thanks, that is, I understand that the silversmith is not recognizable.
Do you think that it is not a pendant for a photo, but for a relic?

HI. I do not see this silversmith in PL. Do you know who it is? Did this photo locket pendant have a special purpose for those engraved cross and the letters IC XC (Jesus Christ)? Re: Enamel cigarette case

Hi.
Im writing again because it bothers me. In PL , I do not see any mark of silver from that period with three letters where the first is C. They do not mention anything in other sources?

Re: Enamel cigarette case

Hi. Qrt.S Hi. AG2012 As for the assayer, it is definitely Ivan Lebedkin, now you can see it better. The silversmith mark is still not clearly visible, but i see there are three letters. https://images92.fotosik.pl/481/d3934b452e6ae1aa.jpg https://images90.fotosik.pl/480/1661d021669833bf.jpg https://...

Hello. Unfortunately, the silversmith hallmark is not very readable, but does anyone recognize the silversmith anyway?Even if I wanted to look, I don't have access to literature at the moment. The assayer is Ivan Sergeyevich Lebedkin from Moscow. Regards https://images91.fotosik.pl/479/0f60120feddf6...

Re: Basket ID

Gentlemen, you can have reservations about the quality of the basket, but the fact that it is not a fake is unquestionable. The origin of the basket is certain. For several dozen years or even longer, the basket has been in the same place. There are no silver marks of a well-known goldsmith on the b...

Re: Basket ID

Hi.
The basket is not for sale.
It is located in the village, in the presbytery of the church. The old priest now lives by the church, but he was a priest there since the 1950s and says that before he came to this church, this basket was already there.
