Hi,
The marks appear to be pre-Revolutionary (pre-1789) French. I will check my references to see what city or jurisdiction might be a good candidate.
Cheers!

Re: Georgian English Armorial - Entwined Rope
Hi Trev,
Can you recommend any particular references that show pictures of these armorials? I am struggling with the proper terminology. Thanks for the leads on the knot!

Georgian English Armorial - Entwined Rope
Hello, I wondered if anyone is able to identify this armorial of two pieces of rope entwined - it is engraved upon an early 19th Century stuffing spoon hallmarked for London. It seems an unusual choice! https://www.925-1000.com/pics/Ximg.jpg (admin photo edit - images too large - link only - see Pos...

Coin Silver Spoon Circa 1790-1810, Marked G&O
This teaspoon seems like it might be a New York or Pennsylvania piece, but I really have no leads, even with the fairly uncommon initials. Am I missing the obvious? Thanks!

Re: Possible Provincial?
This mark is attributed to Thomas Trotter, silversmith and watchmaker of Charlotte, N.C., on page 175 of "Silversmiths of North Carolina" (1984 edition).

Re: R. T. Reynolds spoons
The Ovid Bee (published in Ovid, Seneca, NY between 1838-1870), had a notice dated May 7, 1851 that talked about Rochester Melodeons (musical instruments), and mentioned that one such instrument has been left at "R. T. Reynolds' Silversmith Shop in this place..." Links below are to a digit...

Three Mystery Teasspoons - Three Different Makers
Hello, I thought I'd seek help with these three, as I've run into a brick wall at this point. Not sure of the origin of any of these spoons, though one has some definite Irish characteristics, and could be Irish Provincial or if American, from Baltimore. Would appreciate any help anyone can offer! F...

American Coin Silver Teaspoon Marked "JP" - Any Thoughts?
Hi All, This one has stumped me for a few years - I have a feeling it is Western Pennsylvania or somewhere West or Southwest of that, but really have no leads. Has anyone come across other pieces bearing this mark, or perhaps have a guess as to origin/maker? https://www.925-1000.com/pics/Ximg.jpg Th...
