Boin - Georges Boin mark?
I came across this mustard spoon marked in a lozenge ‘Boin’ no other symbols in the lozenge. Is this the mark of Georges Boin? I cannot find reference to this mark online so if anyone could help give a rough date also it would be great. It’s also marked for 950 silver. https://i.postimg.cc/ZKJ2nmbP/...

Re: Unknown Scottish / Irish Quaich Mark
You’re very welcome it’s a beautiful object. I wish I could find something like this!
Those dates are birth and death so his working period is closer to the later part. Hopefully you’ll be able to find out better dating for it.

Samuel Thompson spoon?
This little pictureback teaspoon I think is from Newcastle and possibly by Samuel Thompson but it doesn’t quite match his mark, any thoughts? https://i.postimg.cc/LstpJ3bT/0-C19-A93-F-5-B47-4252-8-D9-B-C807161-A2-BC0.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/gJGP869P/3-B94-EF09-7-FA9-4666-BC9-D-33-E15-FA933-AD.jpg h...

Re: Help to ID spoon
Is that another mark on the top right back of the spoon? Dots around another mark? Or is it just uncleaned?

Re: Help to ID spoon
The style of spoon is exactly the same as some of my German spoons from the late 19th early 20th century too.

Re: Help to ID spoon
I can’t see these as Finnish marks and I’ve checked and cannot find a Hagberg in Finnish references. Qrt.S who answered above is extremely knowledgeable with Finnish marks so he would have said if he thought they were too. I’m almost feeling suspicious about these marks as they just don’t add up but...

Re: Help to ID spoon
From my knowledge they would fit if they were Swedish 18th century marks (1771 & 1766 for my photo). Ulricehamn would seem to be correct but the marks seem much later?
Needs somebody who’s more familiar with Swedish marks, hopefully they will will be able to help more.

French Marquis family crest help
I think this is a crest for a Marquis but having looked through hundreds of online family coats of arms I haven’t found out who it is. If somebody recognises or can give a hint where to search next it would wonderful. https://i.postimg.cc/xdzz6dp8/2941-F0-ED-9-A49-43-AA-A53-F-71192-A6-D8565.jpg http...

Who is L.Scott?
I have this tablespoon which is marked L.SCOTT but has Austrian style shoulders that are quite rounded. Anyone know who the maker is and where from? https://i.postimg.cc/nLmSnnbm/50918-F7-F-3-D3-C-494-E-84-DB-2-A59-C19-D8-C21.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/xTbzx8KL/9415271-D-7364-40-CB-BF2-B-01927-A463-C6...

Scottish Provincial teaspoon? IC
I have this bottom marked teaspoon which is Scottish in style but has engraved owners initials sideways on like American spoons. It’s marked IC but the C is very odd. Not sure if this is Colonial or Provincial Scottish? Any help would be great. https://i.postimg.cc/52sV3kLQ/02-BFE8-CC-46-BF-41-A8-8-...

This is a dinner fork but can’t seem to find the pattern. Re: Toddy ladle marks
The makers mark has been punched twice and turned up the other way on the second punching. Can you make out what’s underneath? The A punch too has been struck at an angle possibly it was some letter plus A?

Maltese tablespoon marks help
I know the maker Geraldo Pace and the Maltese cross but haven’t got reference to the other marks, can anybody tell me what the other marks are? It’s a really nice tablespoon in unworn condition. https://i.postimg.cc/JnmBFCMq/6350-FF73-BEC1-40-DD-9-C98-20-B10-FD4-F060.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/gJD6Ft0...
