Hello, Meyen also sold flatware and holloware made by other silverware manufacturers (F. Bahner, Vollgold), marked with the Meyen mark, acting just as a retailer. I am not aware of Meyen using production or order numbers so I suspect this was made by someone else and just ...

The letter V is the mark of court supplier Vollgold in Berlin, around 1909 taken over by Koch & Bergfeld, Bremen.

Salt cellars made by D. Vollgold & Son, Berlin

Hello

Shown mark - V in a circle - is maker's mark of D. Vollgold & Son in Berlin.

The salt cellar be marked conform German rules for time of 1888 on.

Retailer were "Gebr. Sommé" (Sommé Bros.) in Breslau, Silesia.
