I have a large austrian bowl, which has a hallmark below. I always believed that this hallmark was used for small articles. Also, the other mark is unknown to me. Any ideas?

Just to add to this subject I saw "84" marks stamped on top of "12" marks in an attempt to cover it. I should mention that the purpose of this was not to fake the item, but most likely to adhere to the silver marking standards at the time. I should have a pictured example of this...

Need help in attributing this mark. Is this a legit Bamberg mark or Hanau pseudo mark?

There is a slight chance (small but possible) this may also be Legnica / Liegnitz city.

The letters are LF. I think I exhausted my resources in identifying this mark.

I came across a salt cellar with a mark that resembles mark of Stolberg, Germany. However, this looks more like a goat than a stag. I am attaching a mark and a picture of the salt cellar. I am almost certain this is XIX century. I would be nicely surprised if i was wrong. :)
Anyhow, there is no zigzag on this piece. These are only 3 marks that were found. Height of the stein is 9.5 inch. Weight about 750 grams.

Here is the image of the item. It is a lidded stein in a Hanau style.

Can someone confirm that these are Hanau marks? One is a cross similar to Tallin's mark, the other is 13, and a letter "N", which could also be Nuremberg. Most likely these are Hanau marks, but I would love to hear others opinion. Thank you! http://img690.imageshack.us/img690/3341/hallmark...

If this is the length of the marks then we narrowed down the search by a bit. I don't have any good reference for...
