Thank you for your quick reply.

It really looks like the emblem/shield of Venice.
However, I was hopping that the little line beneath the hallmark will indicate something about the date of manufacture.

Any additional help will be appreciated.

I 'm trying to identify the hallmarks and origin of a tray and a small serving piece. They both have the same mark that resembles an eagle (?). I couldn't find any maker's mark. Again it belonged to an Italian family. The 2 items are wrought silver and according to the work they were made in the pre...

marks identification

hi I recently bought this small basket (probably France 18th century?). It carries 3 small marks. One of them looks like "fleur-de-lis" crowned with 3 small crosses inside. I couldn't find any information about these marks. I hope somebody will be able to help me. Thanks in advance Dror ht...
