Does anyone know if A Keim, Phila. is a retailer or maker of this Civil War era ladle? The engine turned design is so similar to James Watts and the bright cutting is like Geo. Sharp. ID marks on earrings please

very tiny, hard to photo marks. 2 left marks appear to be "G 4" while mark on right is clearly a "J" in rectangle. I found J in marks book as a Czech assay office in Jablonec but nothing like the other marks. both earring closures are marked the same. your opinions please! http:/...

Gorham Nuremberg form ID please

I tried diligently to identify this knife form but hit a dead end. It is Gorham Nuremberg pattern but the blade shape is the problem. Is it fruit or butter? Apparently a copy of original shapes exists out there as I found the same figure on one page of the tea knives[fig. F], but no butter or fruit ...

the mark is SGP in a triangle plus sterling. Wasn't there a seahorse specialist in Baltimore? stone is silver matrix lapis.

your help was terriffic as all of about 30 pieces found were each marked with only half of the L making it to appear as an I.
With your help I located the pattern name, CELSA TRENZA .

PT 900 = platinum 90%
.750 = 18k gold, the yellow ring decoration shown in image is the 18k part
no information about the S trademark.

your charm most likely started life attached to an English chain with complete hallmarks on one part and 15ct on most individual parts/links etc. When removed you saw only one marking. IMHO

Thanks for the input but the mark on the silver is not theirs. BB&B sold and I have handled many dozens of their silver products with their name clearly stamped along with the makers mark of such firms as Dominic & Hoff and Gorham and several others. Only the leather was stamped with BB&...

John Scofield worked 1776-1790. His work is much more sophisticated than the spoons shown.
John Swift is shown in Jackson's book as well [dot not star] but identical letters and background stamp shape. A more likely candidate.
