What is the piece you have by the way, that was made between 1892 to 1898? Just curious, it may help to narrow it down further. Which makers marks are the ones on your whatever?
Is that the only marks it has on it anywhere? A picture sure would help a bunch. Doesn't sound like a silver, silverplate or even pewter mark, not sure though. Take a better look around it and see what else may be there.
