Williez-

I hope someone here can identify it for you. Just as an observation, it seems to be what, Arabic writing? This is just a feeling I have, because the stones seem to look like Persian turquoise. Anyway... good luck.

It seems to me that I have seen a post here on this forum awhile back, about a charger that was re-weighed every time it was engraved, hence it's large number of weight marks. Perhaps this was done because it started out with a stated weight, I si...

Hello All-

Could it be for King Christian VIII, King Christian IX and the last king Christian X, reigned 1912 to 1947 ? The problem is that there was always a King Frederick between them, so it seems it would be C F C. Just a thought.

Hi Villamarea-

I am an amatuer, and would like to know why you have come to the conclusion that it is coin silver? It is a beautiful tankard; but what are what seem to be shields on it? Could you post a close up shot of them?

Hello All-

I would consider it a multi-national piece. The item seems to have traveled around the world! Austria, Germany, Finland, Mexico and Spain.
But can it be explained as simply Fininish by the 813 mark?

Hi Andrew-

The easiest way to tell between the 1804 or 1906 would be to look at the shape of the cartouche the date letter g is in.

Regards - Byron

great looking set of hallmarks, they seem to be in perfect shape. Nice piece, hard to believe it still has the stopper.
