Help please

Hi I'm having great difficult in trying to indentfy the marks on this piece of silver. It has import marks for London 1897, but the original marks and the sponsors mark is proving a problem for me. First of all is it French? If so, does anyone know what the mark are? http://sv1.letmehost.com/img.php...

Thanks Miles
The foreign mark, on closer inspection, looks like a Large 'C' a small 'o' and a large (rubbed) 'I'

Help with marks please

Hi I was given this as a gift Although i realise that the marks are London 1897, can you please tell me what extra 'F' means. Also the third image shows what I believe to be import marks, what are these please? Lastly, the maker's mark has me stumped as well http://sv1.letmehost.com/img.php?file=sv1...

Geo III Dessert Spoon

Can anyone help with this unusually shaped 'RR' for the makers name. Originally thought it was Robert Rutland - but he wasn't registered until 1807 - & I make the spoon to be 1772. http://www3.filehost.to/files/2006-11-23_03/162231_Geo_III_Despoon_RR.jpg" onclick="window.open(this.href);return f...
