Re: Help with Identification of Maker's Mark/Hallmark

That's a Shube piece, I see the $ mark, and newer. The mark to the left of it looks like it could be 925. There is a copyright mark so dates no earlier than 1955, I believe, but this Southwest Dreamcatcher style with liquid silver was popular starting about the late 1980's.

Re: Please help me ID this pendant "JJ" hallmark

I've had a lot of her pieces, here's a fab one that's along similar lines to yours. A lot of her items are made in Thailand, not sure if all are but I have some that say Thailand right on them.

Judith Jack from New York, she did designs like this in the 1980's-90's.

It's noted in the hallmark book but the maker is unknown, which is the norm.

Re: Please help identify this mark on 925 silver

It's an eagle mark so dates it from 1955-1979 but there are multiple artisans who used that mark so without further marks there is no way to know which one it was.

Re: ID assistance w/ Sterling "TSK" Brick Oven maker mark

That is a Native American/Navajo Hogan, not a brick oven. The ring is a Storyteller design. The mark is for Tom & Sue Kee.

Re: Industria alpaca mexicana

Your pics are kinda small to see any detail but that Aztec Calendar is a common design for money clips. The alpaca mark is the metal it's made of, an alloy of nickel, copper and zinc, no silver in it.
I've never seen Industria Mexican but I have seen Industria Peruana, could it say that?

Re: Grape Pin. Can't make out Hallmark.

Those pins are extremely common tourist pieces done by dozens of lesser artisans. Does yours have the same marks?
The one in the OP looks to be a "T" mark so is post 1979 and done by a silver worker who likely did many for a wholesaler.

I don't know who the maker is but the DF means it's from Mexico City (Distrito Federal) and no eagle mark dates it prior to 1948.

Re: Need help to identify hard to read Mexico Mark~Thank you

It probably says Hecho en Mexico with 2 initials of the artisan in the center. This is a very common tourist design so the artisan is likely an unknown.
I don't see a silver mark and these are often made of alpaca so you might want to test it.

Re: Help to identify Mexican Silver earrings

No eagle mark so they date prior to 1948. The mark says Hecho en Mexico (Made in Mexico). ANR is an unknown artisan as are most, it's rare to find a name to go with a mark. The mask design is a common one in Mex jewelry, the red glass isn't quite as common, they usually came in green or black glass ...

Re: Please help me ID this hummingbird pendant

The eagle mark (not a bell) indicates it's from 1948-1979 but since it was found in the 50's that helps narrow it down some.

Re: Please help me ID this hummingbird pendant

MSR is listed in the hallmark book but with no further info. There are more unknown marks than known ones. It's not a famous designer so doesn't affect the value any.

Re: Any info on this artist ? Pictures Included this time.

If you look at the 2 pics side by side there are marked differences in the crowns not attributable to stamping variations. I tried copying them to post them side by side for comparison but the linked one wouldn't allow it.

Re: Any info on this artist ? Pictures Included this time.

That's a similar crown but not the same one. I wonder if there is another maker that uses the crown in the OP. The Hougart book says Plata Real only sometimes uses a crown, they most often just mark with words.

Re: Sterling Cuff Bracelet

My accusations aren't false, that seller has many mistakes in their listings, including claiming an item made by Chester Benally, Navajo, was Zuni. I could probably find several other mistakes if I took the time. There is nothing wrong with my manners, you are the one bashing someone who has taken t...

Re: Sterling Cuff Bracelet

Did you get that from an online seller's ads? I found one with your mark by a certain seller that I know for a fact has mis-identified mannnnny items. I don't believe anything of what they claim now. You might want to try searching further to verify it if they are the only source you got it from.
