Rainwater shows those Robbins marks as in use circa 1900-1926, but I think more likely they came into use after 1912 when the firm became the ''The Robbins Co.', and have seen it on pieces that probably date as late as the '30s and perhaps even into the early '40s. It's Norwegian, and you have the marks upside down, it's '925S' indicating sterling silver, the maker's mark is a backward 'K' for Edvin Kristiansen/Kristiansen & Lande - please see the second to last post on this thread: https://www.925-1000.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t...

The image in the link for 'Kings III' is actually "King George' - and pieces can change over the years, since you mention the patent date isn't present on yours, it's most likely later production...

Hi - welcome to the forums. Can only say that I agree that the pattern shown as 'New Queens' is actually 'King George'. Carpenter and the JCK Index also show 'New Queens' as introduced in 1895...

Not sure I understand your question, the item you show appears to be a tomato or cucumber server in Gorham's 'King George' pattern, introduced in 1894 - I'm not familiar with a 'King Charles' pattern, and 'Kings III', introduced circa 1885, while somewhat similar, is not at all the same as 'King Geo...

Try an internet search for "fourchettes à melon argent" and see what turns up - can probably dig up some catalog images when I have time...

Very likely the other found was a baby spoon too, do know that Baker-Manchester, Kirk, and Weidlich (those are the three that come to mind, right off) all used regular line patterns and looped their handles toward the front, though Weidlich usually used a roundish bowl, while Baker-Manchester and Ki...

Have seen this a number of times - someone straightened out a loop handled baby spoon, it should be curved around to show the pattern on the same side as the bowl...
