Hi Miles. The reference books I have show the mark of John Walton to have no bullet between the letters, whereas your mark looks as though it has a bullet. I've found a makers mark very similar to yours belonging to John Watson, resistered in Shefield in 1816. Is John Watson a more likely candidate?...

Thanks guys. I always thought there were rules about needing to have at least 2 letters in the makers mark, but I guess there is the odd single letter one out there.
