this ring is silver and marcasite. I know nothing about it and was someone could maybe help with the age. The only mark is "silver"

This is a silver and garnet ring that i was hoping someone could date although the ring is marked 925 (not very clear in pic) the ring looks as if it has some age. Can anyone help?
