Tankard London 1767 W.T

This heavy tankard (504g) is marked London 1767 and W.T in an oval shape for the maker. Who is it? Does anybody know the arms?

Re: please help to identify this ?

Maker of your knife is Wilkens, Bremen. Model No. 116A designed before 1900 (there was also a model 116B with a bigger cartouche). Monogram N with Freiherrenkrone (baron's crown).

Re: Fruit ? fork and knife Birmingham

Hi Phil, thank you very much for your detailed explanation. I now think it is b for 1876. I own 23 pieces, the other 19 pieces (not shown) are marked with Sheffield X for 1857 and JL for I think John Law. One fork is lacking. Do you think that there is a possibility to get the lacking fork? Regards ...

Fruit ? fork and knife Birmingham

Cannot identify the marking of these Birmingham items with ivory handle. Is the year letter b or h, the upper line is forked, what I do not find in my Bradbury's book of hallmarks. Who is the maker J.G ? Regards silverfan https://www.925-1000.com/pics/Ximg.jpg https://www.925-1000.com/pics/Ximg.jpg

Re: German Chamberstick

It is not an Austrian export mark but an Austro-Hungarian import mark used 1901-1921. Maker is Deyhle, Schwäbisch Gmünd.

Re: pepperpots - look middle eastern

I tested my vase posted under "Silver from Iran?" (in Middle East) electronically and the result was: at the side 88,7% and on the bottom 86,9% silver.

Re: pepperpots - look middle eastern

The mark on the right are the arabic figures for 84, a russian silver fineness mark for 875/1000 also used in Persia, but attention there are some experts here who say that it is not sure but it is possible that it is only low content silver.

Re: Unidentified german maker

I think there are only two possible makers: Otto Hintze, Hamburg or Otto Wolter, Schwäbisch Gmünd. The shape of the chalice resembles more that one of Otto Wolter.

Plated cup of unknown origin

This cup which I think is plated has marks which shall look English but are not. The marks show from left to right: a cup, an S, a hand. Does anybody have an idea about the maker? Regards silverfan https://www.925-1000.com/pics/Ximg.jpg https://www.925-1000.com/pics/Ximg.jpg
