Re: 19C Swedish Bowl identification

Looks like Göteborg and 1851. "V" looks a bit odd though but apparently there has been some variation with the style of the letters and I've seen some cases where there's a dot after the letter. If the maker's mark is CT then it could be Carl Tengstedt (1819-1862): https://www.silverstamp...

Also forgot to ask if anyone knows the maker? The mark looks like "CT".

Re: Snuff box identification

Hi, Millesimal fineness .900, meaning very late 19th century or 2oth century. Lack of complex marking systems can eliminate several countries e.g. Britain, France. Lack of characteristic official state marks can eliminate many countries i.e. Spain, Netherlands,Austria. Likely Germany or Italy and r...

Re: Large Pitcher marks and coat of arms

Thank you so much Amena. That’s great information! Would you happen to know the approximate age and the content of the metal, since it has a yellowish tint?

Cheers,

Small pitcher I believe to be Dutch

Dear Experts:

Would appreciate if you can validate that this is indeed Dutch? From my deciphering, I am at a 1868 dating - agree?
Any ideas on the maker?

Thank you all so much,
Biju

Thank you all in advance! Cheers, Biju https://www.925-1000.com/pics/Ximg.jpg https://www.925-1000.com/p...
