The joys of antiques Gordon....who used them,,,who owned them...if only they could talk...I love the piece but it’s not my field to be honest but it has a really nice feel in the hands...I will post a picture once I have polished it hopefully it has a beautiful colour like the one you own... Hi Gordon... I believe the monograms are the same As to when this jug sold I have to be honest and say it was purchased from a lady who found it in her house,she mentioned the eaves so I doubt it is the same jug but I do not have any provenance other than from when I purchased it a few months ago.I ...

Hi Gordon...
A pair they appear to be and with identical placing of the hallmarks...I have not yet cleaned my example as it’s doing no harm in its original state...I wonder if they were made for the same family as mine does carry initials to one side..

Please could someone with a little more knowledge than me confirm my research that the piece is a from cork and made by Carden Terry...I presumed sterling would mean American silver but my research points to cork. Also my research does not seem to show any other jugs marked with only CT w...
