Re: ingot Pendant

Yes, all we can read is VR (Victoria Regina) and 1887 (Golden Jubilee of Queen Victoria, 20 June 1887). The rest is unknown.
Thank you, Phil and AG2012.

ingot Pendant

Hello, I know UK silver ingot pendants, but what about this one? No silver mark, so why is gold plated? Have you ever met pendants like this? Thanks for any info. https://i.postimg.cc/jnQhbJYd/1.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/xcnRPgLk/2.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/Z0rH3Xvt/3.jpg

Spoon - Norway? Silver?

Hello, I have spoon with mysterious (for me) marks. Paths lead to Norway. Is it silver? And what is the maker? The date? Thanks.

Re: French maker 2

I saw Victor Boivin mark before posting - the same shape, with two stars, etc., but letters VB, not JB. Now I know, it is father and son. Thanks to you.
Trev. you are great.

French maker

Anybody can help? I want to know this French maker. The mark is very small and it is maximum I can get. I see two lines of letters - in the first line there is P?? In the second line can be &Cie Maybe you recognize that? https://i.postimg.cc/BPKLLZt4/PIC-0996.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/87HGH86G/PI...

Re: Christofle

Yes, not easy to resolve this. A lozenge shaped mark with ALFE NIDE gives date pre-1862. But the shape of maker mark should be oval. In my photo has definitely a lozegne shape. There is also a sentence "Attention! Sometimes on the early pieces the third mark is absent (e.g., on pieces issued in...

Ok, I found something. It can be Gruhier, Paris, letters J and G.
If it is a piece of gruyere cheese between the letters :-)

Tea container?

Hello, Can you tell me something about that container? For tea maybe? Has 11,5 cm height. With removable lid. And what maker is this? The mark is not clear for me.
