Re: Not Fabritius guardein but Frigast makers mark

Thanks - I had simply forgotten that I already made this post. Was inspired when I saw that mark again
However the Frigast mark should be listed in the section with guardein marks as its a very confusing similarity if you dont know.

Re: Danish Date Marks Project

https://www.925-1000.com/pics/Ximg.jpg 1930 Reread this. The 1930 has a makers mark F - that is Frigast that used this mark. Often mistaken for Fabritius assay mark from 1700hundreds. The F can confuse - I once bought a spoon - seller believed Frigast - I knew it was Guardein mark Fabritius. Theref...

Re: beakers ww2

Some people dont like engravings on silver they want it pure and fresh. But I often find that engravings contain a solvable proviens. These a...

Re: beakers ww2

Thanks for the reply.
They are genever size.
And yes I saw the reference to name, but did not read and find the Tunesia date. I must see deeper into text.
The beekers in itself are very commen not much, but if there is a ww2 reference they rise to a mere interesting status.

beakers ww2

I smell a fantastic story. Bought 2 rather uninteresting beakers. But they seem to be more interesting than expected. https://www.925-1000.com/pics/Ximg.jpg https://www.925-1000.com/pics/Ximg.jpg Text is Oblt. Machat over 15.10.42 over Vickers Wellington and Oblt. Re: Help with hallmark identification - cup

I have no idea what so ever.
But following your link to The forgotten ...... I can assure you that this is a copy. The Paris mark would be very rare, and I am sure that seller will request an amount making it worth copying.
But as I began I have no idea, this is only my common cense.
