I have this spoon with only one mark JJ over S. The spoon have owners initials CØ BAW 1753 The Ø is probaly from Denmark - where i also bougth the spoon. Thank you for the information. I had suspected that it might be a mark from Germany. Perhaps it could become included included in German Hallmarks I ? I do not know the silver smith, but it is a piese of siver for a stick. Here you see one in use.
One this one is written "A. Jensen Ringstedvej 14". Yours need just name.

Thank you very much I am sure that my spoon is around 1800 It contains owners initials on the front of the spoon - and a later owners initials on the backside. The one at the back is dated 1882. Silver spoon from Danzig

I have a silverspoon from Danzig. I contains 3 marks.
1. the city mark with the two crosses
2. S
3. the silver smith MEYER

Unfortunately I have not yet been able to include a picture. I hope that somebody can give me an idea of when my MEYER was active. And whatever information you can give.

Inox is a danish steel producer.
The rest of the hallmarks however are not Danish.

I dont think that it is silver. I have a friend who calls these marks "I whish I were silver" due to the fact that they are placed in order to make this object look like silver without breaking any law by saying "this is silver"

Keys are normally Italy the Vatican but also used otherplaces. The keys looke exactly like Legnica in Poland (1600 - 1700) however it is not the same (english word ??) shield in that Polish mark. OH yes this piece is definetely made of a coin. Now this link brings you to a page in swedish. So you will not be able to understand. However observe the pictures. The last mark is the Guardeins mark. He tested the silver and in 1927 Huis name was Christian F. Heise His mark is a cirkel with a large H with a C in the top and a F at the bottom.
