Thank You very much for the information I do know that the lower case g is not a date letter. I looked up a lot of examples and found all of these SAO had the small letter g after them This is why I mentioned that both of these had been described as common marks I would think this item is older than...

yes, thanks - I had determined the lower case 's' was for 1992

The three towers in the centre are clear - it definately looks like a capital S to the right - I can't tell the mark to the left
