Thank you for letting me know some of the history of the spoon.
I have been using it for years to baste roast potatoes etc and then putting it in the dishwasher, so perhaps its just as well it is not silver!

Identify Maker on Silver Spoon?
Hello I have had this spoon for years and it never occurred to me that it is silver until last night when a friend spotted the markings on the back!
