Re: Please help identify silver hallmark, maker's mark on Liqueur Pineapple

[quote="huszas76"]Hello!
H2 was the assay code of Bozen (Bolzano) between 1868-1918.

Hi Krisztián,
Many, thanks for your your quick reply, very helpful.
I wouldn’t have expected Bolzano.
Pity that you have no source for the manufacturers.

Best regards

Re: French saliere

Hi Krisztian,
I'm not sure, but for me it looks more like Dutch Hallmarks.
Could be quite Dutch duty mark (Minerva helmet with a letter of the asay office) and the other mark the rest of Lion passant.
Best regards!

Re: Please help identify silver hallmark, maker's mark on Saleron

Hi Gerox I'm afraid I can not help you. At that time (1824-1872 as Oel said) in Italy there were maker's marks with a diamond shape in the Papal States. But it is quite possible that the mark is not Italian. Best Amena Hi Amena, Many, many thanks for your perfect answer. Thank you also for the exam...

Re: Please help identify silver hallmark, maker's mark on Saleron

It could be an article imported to Genoa from Perugia. The lozenges marked in red belong to silversmiths from Perugia, Gaspare Bartolelli and Gaetano Rancini, but I have no idea of the other mark that seem intertwined letters https://www.925-1000.com/pics/Ximg.jpg https://www.925-1000.com/pics/Ximg...

Hi AG2012,
possible that it is not a city mark and after 1886.
Can you somehow assign the brand?
best regards
