Any ideas on this spoon's origin?

Hi This teaspoon I originally thought may be Scottish Provincial, possibly Perth, but I now think it is more likely Colonial. Has anybody seen these marks before, if not any opinions would be gratefully appreciated. Many Thanks Martin https://i.postimg.cc/pdCcqfWZ/SAM-6374.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/T...

Re: Unrecorded Exeter mark

Maybe an unrecorded mark for John Stone, he seemed to change his mark on a regular basis.

Hi This cocktail shaker is marked on all component pieces with the one mark, as shown in the image below. Can anybody help me with a possible country of origin? Many Thanks Martin https://i.postimg.cc/Hk9Hsfn5/SAM-6359.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/7Zkw4xHw/SAM-6360.jpg

Re: Soup ladle marks

Thanks for the reply, I think 1774 is probably a good shout. As for the maker,I am leaning towards either WE or WF but I could be wrong.

Soup ladle marks

Hi I know this is a bit of a longshot due to these marks being worn and compressed, but does anybody think they can identify the maker and possibly the date letter? Re: Origin of communion chalice

Thanks Trev, I never even thought to look at Birmingham makers, I wonder why there are no assay marks.

Re: English halmmakrs

The second mark is the rose mark for the Sheffield assay office, it replaced the crown mark in 1975.

Re: 1801 London, twin dishes with spoon holes, exceptionally well made. What are they??

Regarding the hallmarks, the wing nut marked JA is probably a replacement for a lost or damaged original (possible Joseph Angel). The partial marks on the lids are typical for this type of item were you have the full marks appearing on the main part of the piece. As for the maker, I think there is a...

Hi

You have not given the measurements, but due to the notches in the lids (to accomodate a spoon) I would imagine these are either sauce or soup tureens.

Re: Help needed with spoon id.

Hi, I believe your spoon is by London Silversmith John Bryan. It matches up with Jackson's and Grimwade's. It looks like he worked in the 1730's but I can't find any additional info on him. Hopefully, someone else can shed some light. Beautiful spoon by the way. Thank you and well spotted, it does ...
