Re: Can’t find any info on this piece

Okay, buyers from St. Louis firm Whelan-etc.-Hutchinson visited New York in 1902 staying at the New Amsterdam Hotel: https://books.google.com/books?id=vHQoAAAAYAAJ&pg=RA4-PA52&lpg=RA4-PA52&dq=whelan-aehle-hutchinson+new+york&source=bl&ots=36biZlJrit&sig=ACfU3U2Lne4wF3fmBg5pfG...

Re: ?Relish bowled Twist spoon Figural piper "N 10"

Thanks, Trev. Rough time frame 1901-1943 for N10. Squared butt sword appears closet to mark sample D (perhaps a bit tweaked at the blade end), so that tentatively reduces the production era to 1901-1905. Looks like I won't have to use this as a garden tool after all.

?Relish bowled Twist spoon Figural piper "N 10"

Okay, this one is a long shot*, but he sort of resembles an interpretation of the pied piper of Hamelin and 10 Lot/Loth was used in Germany. Could this "N 10" (an approximation of what it might read if clear) be more than number ten of a series in base metal? And is that an odd shaped key-...

Standard link to the Chritofle marks section: https://www.925-1000.com/a_christofle.html

So are we looking at a commercial wares date coding system of the early 20th century where 12 is 1912? Or is it another grams mark?

Re: LDA Souvenir Spoons

Photos would certainly help, but the 1894 Washington pattern first produced by Howard and then successor Roger Williams seems a possible for those spoons (full beading, angling out and then in, and sharply terminating at a point). The Hotel Arcadia itself is both of extreme historical interest and g...

Re: Hallmark identification

The prize cup date must be 1908...the front date of 1907 is for the "Season" which would be a tally at the end of the year. Try to check the pedestal bottom with a finger...if it feels sharp on the edges, then the probabilities are strongly in favor of silverplated base metals. Sterling is...

We can add Chicago & Northwestern Railway (back mark fancy C.&N.W. Ry.) to the user list on this (via a listing). Also a hotel called The Margaret (per listing).

Thanks Cheryl. You got me looking again for fountains and drug stores with soda facilities, and I may have hit upon an answer to the location. This one's a long route...may start with Swift's Pharmacy at Second & Pike (here in 1907): https://chroniclingamerica.loc.gov/data/batches/wa_indianplum_...

Re: Charm bracelet

Might need to invert that one...there's a word above it that may be DENMARK, so the letters would be HS (or MS?).
